I come to this magnificent house of worship tonight because my conscience leaves me no other choice... A true revolution of values will lay hand on the world order and say of war, 'This way of settling differences is not just.' This business of burning human beings with napalm, of filling our nation's homes with orphans and widows, of injecting poisonous drugs of hate into the veins of peoples normally humane, of sending men home from dark and bloody battlefields physically handicapped and psychologically deranged, cannot be reconciled with wisdom, justice, and love... - Martin Luther King Jr.
Linkin Park Wisdom, justice and love
It's not exactly Linkin Park song, but I don't know why, I LOVE this And the idea came from... nowhere
*fave'd* ... Never enough of such principled, direct, quiet, strong railing against the insanity of war. Neither fifty years ago or now. Eloquent thoughts, and you've shown great skill fitting the type and calligraphy styles to the word meanings.
The album comes out today here in Portugal, in fact. I don't know, I'm really afraid of this album. I've heard The Catalyst a few more times and watched the video as well, but I just can't like that song! The lyrics are okay, the sound is different than usual, but that's not even the problem... I just can't like it!
